During the last five years, I have had the privilege and honor of serving on the Plano City Council.  On February 11, 2008, after much prayerful consideration, I filed for re-election for my third and final term for Place 7.  I need your help to prepare for this challenge.

Drawing on my long history as a Plano resident, my experience on the Council and my leadership in the community, I will continue to work hard as a City Council member to support the excellent quality of life we all enjoy.  With my numerous civic contributions, I have the shown the commitment that is required for responsive city government. 

As our city matures, we need to focus on redevelopment and reinvestment throughout our city.  In addition, we need to keep promoting a healthy business environment.  With my education and professional background, I have the skills to seek solutions to the issues now facing Plano. 

Because of my love for the City of Plano and its citizens, because of the current challenges our community faces, because I am committed to you, I ask for your vote.  Election day is Saturday, May 10, 2008 with Early Voting April 28 through May 6.   I appreciate your support as I continue serving you on the Plano City Council.
